A 9 pitch alpine route below the Trient
Plateau.

We spent 2 days on pink granite, surrounded by
alpine peaks and glaciers. From the top of the Champex chair lift, we hiked an
hour and a half to Plan d’Arche, where there are several bolted climbs. After
climbing there, we hiked to the Trient Hut, and spent the night in the winter
part. Cooking dinner over the wood stove made for a cozy evening. We climbed the
9 pitch “Moquette“,
on the Aigulle d’Orny the next day. Fine, fall weather buffeted us on the way to
the top.

will fall from 2500 meters.
