Alpine Week Intermediate

For these 6 days, we tackle a few fine alpine routes and look at the skills required to safely and quickly move together in such terrain. Route finding, rope handling and belaying, and climbing skills are the most important features of alpine climbing. Knowing and practicing these skills will help you advance on your journey to proficient alpine climbing. Participants should have some previous alpine climbing experience. The guide ratio is 2:1.

The price of the course is SFr.2’490.00 which includes guiding and guide expenses, technical gear rental, transportation, and room and board.

After discussion with the participants, we will choose a destination that meets our requirements. A typical week would be based in the Arolla area and climbing the Arete de Salion and Grand Cornier.
