For me, this is absolutely the finest aspect of life in the Alps. What can possibly be better than climbing day after day, shorts and t-shirt, friends and rocks, on hot rock, glaciers gliding away at your feet?

Jurg von Kanel has a great selection of guide books. These are geared towards the 5+-6b climber. Lots of info on routes in this area is given. Olivier Roduit, one of the guides I work closely with, produced a guide book for this valley.
