Snow is Forecasted


Things are getting challenging here, but there is still fine adventure to be had...

I am finding it very amusing to hear certain people harangue about how "There is no snow in the Alps." These quaint remarks makes me smile, spotting a new snowy line, over their heads, in the backdrop of the valley behind. Seeking out these new (to me) valleys and finding fine adventure, is what it's all about! Non? Riding a lift, taking a short heli ride, skinning a couple hours, and scrambling over rocks (fine adventure) gives life to that pudding-of-brain you had, whining "There aint no snow in the Alps!"

The forecast is calling for 10 cm here today, and more wednesday. We shall see what comes of it...
