Super St.Bernard is open

Jimmy and I had a look south again. This time a bit closer to home.

Avalanche danger was still around 3, but was well hidden. Only the "Piste Noire" was open. We put on skins and crossed over to the Italian side. The Bise, the wind from the North, was blowing hard. It made for some fine ambience, as you could hardly see the ground in front of you. With every turn, the wind blasted snow down the hill, obscuring the slope.

Lunch at St Remy was out of this world! The snow was very turnable, but changing quickly with the strength of the wind.
