Alps Weather and Avalanche Forecast


The 5 day forecast calls for a little more snow.

A series of depressions will move through the Alps over the next 5 days. Only a little precipitation is expected with these storms.

Most ski areas which were open over the long weekend, have closed for the week. But from next weekend, most will remain open for the winter season.

The temperatures have dropped, so expect the waterfall ice to come into shape within 5-6 days. The avalanche danger has dropped to level 1.
