Greenland Again!

Doug and I are back again for more
fun.

I thought I was going to be alone this week, with
only one group making it. But my back blew out on me, skiing at 9PM local time,
on arrival day (1AM European Time). Minute-Man?Doug Coombs rallied to save
my butt, and is now skiing with this small
group.

Our first run was one of those
indescribable Greenlandic experiences of flying down a huge corn snow face with
the nine o’clock sun setting, Kangaamiut-Homeward Bound. How wonderful it was.
This place is magic.

Lousy weather put
us on the ocean Day 3, with the pretense of whale hunting. Happily, we didn’t
spot any. But Noah did manage to shoot one duck with a .22! and catch some weird
looking fish with the first hand-line down. Here are a few href="http://www.swissguides.com/trips/050430Kangaamiut/index.html">scenic
shots…
